About Hair & Now Electrolysis

Details Matter.

Valerie Jackson

Valerie Jackson, electrologist

Valerie is a proud Dallas resident and experienced electrologist with over 13 years of professional experience. With her educational background in biology and over 600 hours of on-the-job apprenticeship, she earned her certified membership with the American Electrology Association in 2014.

She started in the electrolysis business as a loyal client, so she understands firsthand what clients want in an electrologist. Valerie was hired at a small start-up clinic where she learned all aspects of running a successful electrolysis business. She managed day-to-day operations, scheduled and treated clients, and helped grow the business while providing top-notch permanent hair removal treatments for hundreds of clients over the years.

In 2016, Valerie was elected President of the Texas Association of Professional Electrologists and also served as a National Board Member for the American Electrology Association.

After several years working for someone else, Valerie took the leap and opened her own salon, Hair & Now Electrolysis. Her salon provides top-quality treatment in a spa-like setting using the latest permanent hair removal technology.

Valerie believes customer service is everything and is committed to making every client feel comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Venus Morgan

Venus Morgan, electrologist

Venus is a native DFW resident who has lived here for 28 years. She is a writer, a poet, a competitive gamer, a local music enjoyer, and a PLSR member. While seeking permanent hair removal as treatment for hormonal imbalances, she found herself at Hair & Now. After being a client for over a year, Venus developed an interest in the practice.

She took a leap of faith and began her apprenticeship under Valerie Jackson. Now she is an experienced electrologist at Hair & Now, hoping to offer clients her careful hands and thorough approach.
